Supercharging First Gen and Advancing All College Students

Education is a force multiplier.

Education drives life outcomes, but its impact is not equal for everybody. Research shows that first gen and low-income students benefit the most from a “selective” college education.

Here’s the Problem:

  • Admission is just the first step - students need to stay in school and thrive.

  • Some schools have created programs dedicated to first gen and low-income students.

  • Some are well-funded; some are not.

Overall, we can do more.

These students don’t need our support. They deserve our support and the support of their peers, just as exceptional people in other organizations support each other.

We are a new non-profit dedicated to supporting first gen / low-income college students.

  • Enrichment

The academic — exclusive academic conferences, talks by professors

The inspirational — CEOs, public sector leaders, leaders of all types

The practical — career opportunity & community discussions, interview prep

  • Financial Support

Living expenses, not just school expenses (already covered by financial aid).

The suit and tie, the winter coat, eyeglasses, travel to academic conferences, travel home during winter break.

    The unpaid internship.

Funds for creating opportunity, not just attendance.

  • Community

    Connectivity with each other.

Connectivity with those who have come before.

Students who have made it this far are the best of the best.

Let’s surround them with a team to accomplish their best.
