Life outcomes are a function of many things.
Who you are. Your background. And what you know, or have experienced, to name a few.
These things multiply in their effect, they aren’t just additive.
If you are a winner — and if you’ve read this far, you are — then you understand that education can multiply your opportunities, your probabilities, and the frontier before you.
Our objective at Passport is to support first generation and low income college students thrive in college, graduate, and find success in whatever post-graduate endeavor they choose to pursue.
We are not just interested in helping students who face special challenges stay in school and graduate. Though we are. As founders of Passport, we’ve all been beneficiaries of the American higher educational system, and we are more interested in maximizing the opportunities students enjoy while in school so that they can enjoy its transformative effect.
We are not just interested in career advancement. Though we are. As founders, we’ve seen what post-graduate opportunities exist for those who are capable, have the right “medals” around their neck, and have access to certain networks., and so we are more interested in advancing the interests of first gen and low income students, in whatever field, course of study, area of service, and so on matters to them.
First gen and low income students are the “best of the best.” They deserve every iota of help we can give them.
